Special Projects this Season

December - A production of a TRADITIONAL version of A Christmas Carol, adapted from the Charles Dickens' classic by Ross Daniels, will be performed at the San Juan College Little Theatre on December 14, 15, 2007, and again at the Brooks/Isham Performing Arts Center on the Kirtland High School Campus on December 21st and 22nd, all at 7:30 pm. "Official" tryouts were held on October 5th and 6th, and the cast is deep into rehearsals now. This will also be a special experience because, unlike most shows where the stage director "defines the artistic statement", that is, what the audience sees, in this production that is being decided by our three very talented technicians, Greg Churchill, Sound and Special Effects Designer; Chris Overson, Lighting Designer; and Chuck Ramsey, Artistic Director and set Designer. And to show our appreciation to the community for its support, we are sharing the box office receipts with "Big Brothers, Big Sisters" of Farmington

January - On January 11 & 12, 2008, we will be presenting a "Reader's Theatre" performance of Same Tim, Next Year by Bernard Slade, directed by Connie Gotsch. In addition, Sandy Elam Nelson will revive her presentation of the one-woman show about the writings of Emily Dickenson, The Belle of Amherst,. by William Luce, on January 18th and 19th. Both presentations will be at the San Juan College Little Theatre at 7:30 pm.

March - A presentation of the Eileen Moushey one-act Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre production of The Fatal Fifties Affair will be performed at the San Juan Country Club on March 15, 2008. Debbie Doggett returns to TEA as its director. Rehearsals will begin at the Director's discretion.

July - The melodrama, with olios, The Curse of the Coffin Nails or The Perils of a Puffer, written by Ross B. Ramsey (the father of our very talented Artistic Director, Chuck Ramsey) and J. Ross Kearney, will be presented at various times at the Totah Theatre during the "Freedom Days" celebration that takes place in downtown Farmington during the week of July 4th.
