Kenneth Ables is a lover of performance. Performing stand up comedy in the past, a disc jockey on KWYK for AM JAZZ, and now, performing where his true heart lies, on the stage for theater. Getting his start in Farmington, Ken appeared in Dedicated to the End as an Italian hit guy running from the Lt. Governor, Brighton Beach Memoirs as “Jack”, the father, Southern Fried Murder as an 80 year old woman and her gay son, and in Color of Heat as the husband (naturally, the other part was the wife). He is a member of Delta Psi Omega. Jacques Abrahamse moved to New Mexico from the Land Down Under, Australia in 2001, with his wife, Doreen, and 3 children; Caitlan, Nathaniel, and Sarah. He works at BHP coal mine, as a ventilation officer, in both underground and surface mining. Sarah Abrahamse is a Junior who attends Farmington High School. She has been involved with most of their previous school productions, and has been properties manager in the Philadelphia Story at FHS. She participated in the TEA production of Scapin, as well as previous college plays. This is her fifth year in the USA; she was born and raised in Australia, and her family moved here when she was in the eighth grade. Sarah says, “Drama is so much fun and I try to help out whenever I can. I love it and I always have so many laughs.” Staci Alexander is 27 years old and has been in the Cosmetology Program at San Juan College since last fall. She will be graduating in December and then return for her Cosmetology Instructor's license. Staci is very passionate about her industry and looks forward to making people feel better. She have not participated in theatrical makeup yet but is very excited to do so. Matt Allcorn is a senior at Farmington High School. He plays basketball and tennis for the high school and participates in summer league baseball. He is active in his church and is a member of the National Honor Society. This is Matt's first production with TEA Productions. He enjoys acting and hopes that this will lead to many more productions. Matt is a hard working student and hopes to go to college next year to pursue a career in Law. April Anderson is a 29 year old New Orleans native who has been involved with theatre since 1992. She has acted and directed many plays. Some of her director credits include TEA’s Steel Magnolias, Enter Laughing and Sorry Wrong Number. She spends her time between theater, her boyfriend Jeremy, a local artist, friends, her mother and her extensive family of pets. She thanks you for coming to see all of our hard work. Judy Andersen and her husband have been residents of the Farmington area for 10 years. They have four sons, two daughter-in-laws and, best of all, three grand-children. She enjoys traveling, shopping, and being with family and friends. This is her fourth year working with TEA. Reid Anderson has been involved in a number of productions including Don't Drink the Water, The Actor's Nightmare, The Author's Voice, The New Play Everyman, and many others. This is, however, Raid's first production with TEA. When not acting, Reid is a Computer Technician at SJC and a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism. Chriss Anglin has been a resident of the Farmington area for over twenty years. He has been very active in theatre productions at San Juan College for the past two years, appearing in The Innkeeper and the Star as “Joseph”, the student activities murder mystery Funeral for a Gangster, as “Frankie Marzeti”, and The Boar's Head Feast as “The Lead Jester.” Chriss has most recently began working in film and television. He has had roles in three motion pictures and has appeared in a television commercial for Furr's Supermarkets as well as having done numerous radio ads. Chriss has formed Dreamcatcher Talent as the Four Comers’ only talent agency, and High Desert Productions in an attempt to bring more film and television opportunities to the Four Comerss. Erin Archuleta is finishing her degree at San Juan College. Her interest in theater began in high school and she hopes to become more involved with TEA's productions. Erin is a Student Ambassador for SJC as well as a member of Delta Psi Omega. Paul Armenta is a native of New Mexico, who moved back to Bloomfield last year after living in Santa Fe for 8 years. He decided to be in this play, thanks to Lynda Rodriguez and TEA, as a precursor to acting in film and because the play is by a talented Hispanic playwright. He earned his Associates degree at San Juan College and has leaned towards music (mostly piano lessons and being in a choir at St. Mary's church in Bloomfield). In college most of his classes were geared towards art and film. He received a B.A. in Art and Film in 97' at the College of Santa Fe. Just a month ago, Paul was awarded a 3 year Joumada De Fe Catholic degree. Since being awarded his B.A. he has gotten to work in films with stars such as Matt Damon, Andy Griffith, Billy Bob Thorton , Dennis Hopper, Steve Byshymy, Steven Sodemburg, Olympia Dukakis , and Master P. He was also involved with other independent films as a set designer or being an extra working towards becoming an Assistant Art Director. Felecia Austin is currently enrolled in the second semester of the Cosmetology Program at San Juan College. She has lived in the Farmington area for the past 26 years. Felecia is married and has two children as well as one grandchild. She enjoys the outdoors. Cynthia L. Bagley has been doing costumes for various TEA and SJC productions for the past ten years. Cynthia was introduced to theatre by her husband Tim and her first costume assignment was with TEA in the production of Life with Father; the rest is history. Cynthia’s most recent costume production was Joseph of the Village a Sharon French Production that was performed at “The Phil” in Shiprock. Some of her costume designs for TEA include Steel Magnolias, Little Nell for which she won the Best Costume Award, and Run For Your Wife. When Cynthia has time to stop, relax and take a breather she prefers to stay home and read. Tim E. Bagley has enjoyed directing since his first endeavor at Cerrito College in Norwalk, California. That show was The Other Side, which received rave reviews and was the beginning of the Student Directors Showcase every semester. His follow-up shows The Lover and Adaptation were also well received. Tim got back into directing here in Farmington with The Actor’s Nightmare in 1998. His other Directing credits include: A Dickens Christmas Carol-A Traveling Travesty in Two Tumultuous Acts (2000 & 2001), After The Beep, Sister Mary Ignatius Explains It All For You, Haunted and Cat’s Away. Tim received his Bachelor’s degree in directing from CSW where he also directed All in the Timing and An Evening of Culture; Faith County II. Stephen L. Balling has acted in Piedra Vista High School productions as well as San Juan College productions. His credits include Oklahoma, Our Town, Guys and Dolls, and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, just to name a few. He is aspiring to earn a Ph.D. in musical theater. Erica Baker is 18 and a senior at Piedra Vista High School. She has been involved in theater since junior high. She has performed in numerous productions including Letters to Lucerne, The Good Doctor, and most recently She Stoops to Conquer., which won many awards at the San Juan College Theater Festival. Erica also picked up a first place trophy for the humorous duo competition. She is a members of the International Thespian Society. Bebe’s Birds is her first Theater Ensemble Arts production. She enjoyed the experience a lot and is very proud of the show. Gayla Baker is a relative newcomer to theater arts. She became interested in theater after winning tickets to a play from a local radio station. She has always been interested in oil painting and feels that working on set construction is a wonderful way to gain experience in art. Her first assignment was in set construction for The Mousetra.p. She is looking forward to learning more about the theater arts. Isaac Barber is an eight-year-old student from Kirtland, NM. Although he is relatively new to acting, he is certainly not shy when it comes to giving a role his best effort. During the summer, he appeared in the Heather McGaughey Children's Theater Summer 2007 production of Just So playing “The Little God Nqa”. Currently, he is performing for Theater Ensemble Arts in the 2007 production of A Christmas Carol playing “Ignorance” and one of “Belle's children”. He is the son of Andrew Barber Jr. and Ronda Johnson. Isaiah Barber is a thirteen-year-old student from Kirtland, NM. He enjoys many different activities, but above all, acting is certainly one of things that Isiah regards as one of his greatest passions. During the summer, he appeared in the Heather McGaughey Children's Theater Summer 2007 production of Just So playing the “Crocodile” and in a later production, he was also given the role of The Big God Nqong. He is the son of Andrew Barber Jr. and Ronda Johnson. Seth Barker is a freshman at San Juan College. His first contribution to SJC theater was as properties master for the summer production of The Miser. He has also worked on Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, No, No Nanette, Grease, Brighton Beach Memoirs and Painting Churches. He directed the Bloomfield High School Theater Club’s production of Steel Magnolias. Seth is a Young Artists Representative to the Board of Directors of TEA as well as the president of Delta Psi Omega, the San Juan College student theater organization. He thinks that theater is one of the best ways to relax and release energy. Normachele Barney is currently attending San Juan College and serves as the costume assistant for the Theatre Department. She is studying to be an Early Childhood Educator and is expecting to receive her certification in Fall, 1999. Bob Bassett is after a long absence, back in the saddle again as "Virgil Blessing." Bob seems doomed to be type cast in older roles. His last role was the feisty old "Judge Omar Gaffney" in TEA'S production of Harvey. He also played "Jack" in Jack's Last Supper, another old man who actually died by the end of the play. Bob's great fear is he will be a very old man before he gets to play a younger role. Christine Beattie took 20 years to get involved in theater after the seed was sown in a 9th grade play. She hasn’t quit since, doing acting, singing, tech, directing, stage managing and set designing. Along the way she received an Associate of Arts Degree with Emphasis in Theater at SJC. Christine was the first student at SJC asked to design a set, Painting Churches. Bell, Book and Candle is the 4th set she has designed since then. She is happy to “be aboard” with TEA. Matt Bedocs has worked with both the Lakeshore Players Acting Company and the Elyria Pioneer Theater. He is a lifetime member of the International Thespian Society and has won major awards for directing and set construction. He has performed in A Midsummer's Night Dream, Phantom of the Opera, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, and The Fantastiks, and did set construction for James and the Giant Peach, and Brighton Beach Memoirs and scene painting for South Pacific. Matt served as Stage Manager for Brighton Beach Memoirs and performed in SJC's Glass Menagerie and Man of La Mancha and TEA's The Mousetrap. Ed Begay, a native of Farmington, is a well-known hair stylist. During the day he can be found operating the Ritz Styling Salon. Ed was been involved with Sandstone Production's Anasazi, The Ancient Ones as an actor in various roles. He also did the hair and makeup design, assisted with costuming and functioned as a Navajo Culture consultant. Ed has worked with the SJC College Theater Department as an actor and with SJC and TEA as the hair and makeup designer. Ed has had the privilege of performing with “UP WITH PEOPLE”, B.Y.U.'s Lamanite Generation, and several movies. Ed has been with TEA since its inception. Tory Belveal is currently a student at Kirtland Central High School. She is a jnior and has been in cheerleading for about 4 years and is varsity captain along with her best friend, Shaylynn Cutshaw. She was born on February 1, 1988. Her parents are James and Karlene. She has one brother and two sisters, Landon, Karlie, and Talisha. This is her first production with TEA. Kendrick Benally is a twenty-six year old Native American who has lived in New Mexico most of his life. He spent some time with the Marine Corps and was honorably discharged. He is now married to a beautiful wife and lives here in Farmington. He loves to be artistic, creative, etc… Tyler Berkey is 14 years old and was born in Durango. He has been in “small” plays and productions in school such as having played a minor role in Stone Soup. He likes to “play dramatic” and is really excited about being in this production of Marvin’s Room and playing the part of “Charlie.” Loyalchico “Chico” Beyale is a 27 year old Native American who has lived in Farmington his whole life. He has a beautiful wife and 2 young boys. His youngest son is 1 years old and his oldest is 4 years of age. When not helping TEA he is employed at Pesco as a pipefitter. In his free time he enjoys being with his wife and family and also playing basketball. Aaron Biel participated in drama as a freshman at Piedra Vista High School. He was a Master of Ceremonies for their production of Vaudeville. He enjoys other activities including snowboarding and motor cross. His dirt bike career came to a screeching halt after a life-threatening accident. However, after many setbacks, he is glad to have the opportunity to perform in his first TEA show, especially with a director like Mrs. Houghton, who has been his inspiration from the start. Jory Bishop has lived in Los Angeles, Bakersfield and Seattle. Involved in many aspects of theater from acting to lighting and sound design, his first love is directing. His directing credits include Skin of our Teeth, M*A*S*H, The Restaurant, Auntie Mame, As You Like I", and most recently, TEA’s production of Neil Simon’s Proposals. As an actor, he thrives on comedy including improvisation and character roles. In his free time he enjoys writing and working in radio. He can be heard on Sunday mornings hosting KWYK’s (94.9 FM) Amjazz show. Lori Boettler is doing her first production with TEA, but she is not a stranger to the stage. Her early experience began with High School plays, Summer Theater, and Community Theater in Canon City Colorado. More recently she was a member of the PHCC Players at Pinon Hills Community Church here in Farmington. She appeared in several productions including My Cousin Lino, Hollywood Hillbillies, and the Crenshaw Family Reunion. Their last production was an interactive dinner theater, The Mystery of Talbot Manor. It has been about six years since that performance and a Lori is very excited to be back on stage again. Shannon Boettler is 19 years old and recently graduated from Piedra Vista High School where she performed in shows such as Vaudeville, Miracle Worker, Music Man, The New Play Everyman, Treasure Island, and Plaza Suite. She is currently a freshman at San Juan College. Her first college production was The Importance of Being Earnest where she was cast as “Gwendolen Fairfax.” This is her first time being involved with TEA productions. Her goal is to major in acting and go on to become a film actress in Hollywood. Cyndi Bolen began her dramatic career at FHS under the direction of Chuck Ramsey. She played various roles in High School and College (20 + years ago) and then began a family and career. She has been married to husband, Steve, for 22 years and has two beautiful daughters, Stevie and Shelbie. In 1992 she played the ”Wicked Stepmother” in Cinderella. For the past 8 years she has directed the theatrical endeavors of Pinon Hills Community Church, including the dinner theaters My Cousin Lino, The Hollywood Hillbillies, The Crenshaw Family Reunion, and The Mystery of Talbot Manner. Most recently Cyndi returned to the stage as Truvy in Steel Magnolias, her first production with TEA. Whitney Bond is 19, from Ramah, NM. She graduated from Ramah High in 2006 and is now attending the San Juan College Cosmetology Program. She plans to stay in New Mexico for a year after she gets her license, and will then will move to Idaho, where she hopes to open her own salon. Bob Bottomley earned a Bachelor's Degree in Broadcasting at the University of New Mexico in 1986. He spent eight years working at CCC TV 27 in Albuquerque, first as an Access Technician and then Production Coordinator. He moved on to KNAT TV 23 in 1992, where he was a Production Assistant and Producer. He also spent several years as a music video program Host and Producer. He has been a Media Technician at San Juan College since 1997. He is also co-owner of Ballistic Media. Cody Bowen is the new Technical Director for the Henderson Fine Arts Center and theatre department at San Juan College. He has worked in professional theatre as a Technical Director, Master Carpenter and Master Electrician, as well as an actor and performer in many shows in New York, Dallas and venues in Oklahoma. Cody as a degree in Musical Theatre and Acting Directing and has recently been seen on the SJC stage in The Grapes of Wrath. Ryan Brainerd is receiving his general education degree through the adult basic education at SJC and likes it there. He was previously in Father of the Bride” for TEA. He enjoys participating in dramatic productions and hopes to do more. Chelsea Branson is a student at San Juan College. She would like one day like to open her own salon, and create her own line of hair care products. All her inspiration comes from the support of her loving family. Daryl Branson started acting exactly one year ago in TEA’s first production of A Christmas Carol as “Bosworth”. He has been in three other TEA productions since then: as “Mr. Dearth” in Dear Brutus”, as “Leslie” in Love, Sex, and the IRS, and most recently as “Jack Jerome” in Brighten Beach Memoirs. He is very happy to be in A Christmas Carol again, this time as “Fred”, and hopes you enjoy the show. Updated on 10/12/08 Stina Branson is originally from Missouri, where she earned a degree in French and music at Drury University and did graduate working in music production at Missouri State. She is a life member of Sigma Alpha Iota, and her hobbies include reading, photography, and travel. Pam Breithaupt started her acting career two years ago. Her first performance was in TEA’s Love Letters and in 2008 in In Same Time Next Year. Previous TEA was in 2004 as assistant director for Dial M for Murder and Angel Street, followed by directing Spiral Staircase in 2005. She also acted in San Juan College productions in 2007 and 2008, Grapes of Wrath, Urinetown, and as “Lady Bracknell” in The Importance of Being Earnest”. In addition to acting Pam sings in San Juan College Choir, is a CASA volunteer, as well as volunteer with Habitat for Humanity, and on the San Juan County Review Board, In her previous life she was a teacher and counselor in Iowa. Updated on 01/26/09 Amy Brimhall has been doing photography for 3 years as a self-taught photographer studying in Dallas, Texas, while her husband Dr. Zeke Brimhall attended Chiropractic School. They have 3 children and are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Amy’s background in art as muralist, makeup artist, face painter and pencil and paint artistry has shaped her eye for light and color within photographing people at their best. Dramatic Imaging is edgy and energetic photography with lots of color. Amy gives prints right from a disk to keep the cost low for her clients. Each image is individually edited with the finest attention to detail while keeping the realistic nature of the individual. Katie Brost was born in Texas but defected to Colorado at the age of eighteen. She recently graduated with honors from Fort Lewis College in Durango with a degree in Theatre Arts and a minor in Philosophy. Since moving to Durango in 2000, Katie has participated in a plethora of community and college shows. She specializes in acting and directing but enjoys technical theatre as well. Past productions include A Midsummer Night's Dream, The Complete Works of William Shakespeare {Abridged}, The Reindeer Monologues, The Sand Queen's Dream Candle Ceremony, and The Grapes of Wrath, to name a few. Katie currently works full time at San Juan College as a Theatre Technician and hopes to attend graduate school in the fall. Dońa K, Brown returned to her hometown of Farmington last year after being away for 25 year. She spent the previous 15 years as a writer in New York. Dońa was admitted into the David Mamet Atlantic School of Acting where she studied his unique methodology. Ellen Brown began her theatre career playing “Tortellini Fusilli”, a mob moll, in the SJC Murder Mystery production of Dedicated to the End a role that was totally unlike her true personality. She ran the sound board for Brighton Beach Memoirs and made her debut with TEA doing her first stint in the major task of co¬-producing Life with Father. However, the role she likes best is helping with refreshments and enjoying her seat at the productions. Kalee Brown is 24 years old and grew up in San Juan County. She currently works as a Fiscal Accounts Specialist at the San Juan Center for Independence. She also coordinates a group of young adults with disabilities called YAD. This is Kalee’s first TEA production. Kenneth Brown received his Master of Fine Arts Degree in Scenic Design and Stage Technology from the University of Missouri in 1988. He has been Scenic Designer/Technical Director at Brown University, John Carroll University, University of Missouri-Columbia, and the College of Santa Fe. He has designed and been technical director of over 280 college productions. Ken worked for both the Missouri Repertory Theatre and the Santa Fe Theatre Company. Since returning to Farmington, Brown was Designer/Technical Director for Arsenic and Old Lace and The Diary of Anne Frank and served as Technical Director for Painting Churches. As Technical Director for TEA he designed the sets for The Odd Couple-Female Version, Crimes of the Heart and Marvin’s Room, Tennessee, the AACTFest show that TEA took to Roswell in March, 2001 and co-designed Moon Over Buffalo. Ken designed Dreams and Drill Bits and Black River Traders for Sandstone Productions last year. Although preferring “tech” to acting, Brown has acted in over twenty productions. His roles include “Hamm” in Endgame, “Mitch” in Streetcar Named Desire, Mr. Kellar in The Miracle Worker, “Rev. Humphrey” in See How They Run, various characters in A Thurber Carnival, “Orsinio” in Twelfth Night and “George Hay” in Moon Over Buffalo. Ken is currently an Assistant Professor at New Mexico Junior College in Hobbs. Mike Burgett moved to the Farmington area in 1997 after spending most of his life in the upper Midwest. His first acting experience came at the age of 47. He recently was a member of the cast of Arsenic and Old Lace presented at San Juan College in the fall of 2003. Mike is proof that it’s never too late to try something new. Chimene Burns started working at SJC theater in 1995 in shows such as Tabernacle Christmas, Imago, Lawrence Nass Jazz Band, The Tempest and The Nutcracker. She did sound for Plaza Suite, The Mousetrap and Life With Father, and most recently served as Set Designer for Jack's Last Supper. Scott Burns is active in all aspects of theater, from doing sound for Linda Edwards' Country Company, Keith Cochrane's Jazz Band and Judy Nickerson's Dance, as well as various other performances at the Henderson Performance Hall and the SJC Little Theater including James and the Giant Peach and The Tempest. He worked at the Farmington Civic Center on West Side Story, and at the Wilderness Park on South Pacific and Anasazi, The Ancient Ones. Scott ran the lighting board for TEA's entire premiere season. Barbara Burrell returned to Farmington after raising her family in Denver, Colorado. While in Colorado she was associated with Carlo Fassi's Olympic Training Center (ice skating) and the Colorado School of Ballet. She spent many hours doing volunteer work in the costume department of both organizations. Laura Busch has a BS in Theater Arts from ENMU. She was the Drama Coach for Kirtland High School and was a founding member of the San Juan College High School Theater Festival. Her roles include “The Nurse” in Romeo and Juliet, “Rebecca Nurse” in The Crucible, and “Pozo” in Waiting for Godot. She has directed Arsenic and Old Lace, Enter Laughing and You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown. She is currently a teacher at KCHS, has three wonderful sons, two darling daughters in law, and a very cute dog. Lonna Butts began her love of the theater in California both in high school and college levels. She attended the Pasadena Playhouse and studied under Hermione Gingold. Lonna has been involved with TEA since 1998. She has worked as a Hair/Makeup Technician, assisted with Hospitality, served as the Artistic Director, Production Coordinator and is the Production Stage Manager for Whizbang Café and The Cat’s Away. She thoroughly enjoys her involvement with TEA and the casts and crew members of each TEA production. Lonna encourages all of the community to join in the fun with the TEA Family.
Erin Castleberry is 14 years old. She is a freshman at Piedre Vista H.S... This is her third play with TEA, The first being TEA’s 2007 production of A Christmas Carol, and the second being 2008 production of A Christmas Carol. Other theater includes Rapunsel Uncut, Beauty and the Beast, at San Juan College. Erin has also been involved with Sandstone. She was in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat”, and helped with props for Crazy for You. Judy Castleberry will direct her first play for TEA. Although she has directed other productions, including several plays she has written. In 2007 she was in A Christmas Carol, she was Christmas Present. Her play, The Yard Sale, was the winner of the 2007 Playwriting Contest at San Juan College. Eons ago, Judy was part of San Juan Stage Company. Even more eons ago, she was “Lucy” in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown at San Juan College. In between, Judy has raised kids, worked in senior care, and written both fiction and nonfiction. May A Christmas Carol be a Christmas Gift to you! Alexandria Charles is 11 and is a home schooled (by her dad) sixth grader. She plays piano, softball, golf and soccer and is an alter server and caregiver for Sacred Heart Church. Her debut performance in theater was as a fish in The Boy Who Fished from the Moon, in Fall 2000. She loves to sing, dance, camp-out and visit Slovokia. Her mom plays “Joe” in the adult cast of this production. Patrick Cheney has done work in film, commercials, radio, and theater, plus a stint as a standup comic. His works include Noises Off,, Greater Tuna, Cyrano de Bergerac and many others. He appeared in TEA's premiere season production of Plaza Suite in the dual roles of “Sam Nash” and “Roy Hubley”, and directed the TEA production of The Odd Couple-Female Version last season. Patrick performed in Farmer Franklin Townson for Showcase Concerts and did lighting design for Fortinblas at Ft. Lewis College, and for TEA’s AACTFest entry Tennessee. His original script, The Boy Who Fished from the Moon, was performed under his direction at SJC last Fall. He will take over as Artistic Director for TEA for the 2001-2003 seasons. Pat Chester-Pilgrim was a charter member of the San Juan Stage Company where she directed Fantastiks, did makeup for 1776” produced many, many plays, and performed as “Abby” in Arsenic and Old Lace. She costumed and sang in the chorus of the opera, La Traviata. She is the mother of seven (from a previous marriage) and is currently a newly wed. Josh Choman is a home-schooled senior who works in the TEA scene shop whenever he can for his high school drama credits. He enjoys theatre, fencing and life! Troy Choman is a 12 year old home-schooled student who enjoys violin, art and piano. His love of acting is only rivaled by his love for his hermit crabs. Greg Churchill has been designing sound for TEA since 2003. He owns Grooves on the Move Mobile DJ & Sound Services and is manager of the Totah Theatre. He has been a mobile DJ since 1989. Greg has recorded and produced several local bands and is always on the lookout for new talent. Greg enjoys local live talent and hopes you will do your part to help support these artists and venues. Enjoy the show!!! Tegan Clarke is 12 years old and was born in Sydney, Australia. She has a brother, a mom, a dad, and two wonderful dogs. She attends 7th grade at Mesa View Middle School., and enjoys knitting, playing with her dogs and rock music. Tegan wants to be a veterinarian or a rock musician. Annie Hisky Cleveland is a 53 year old mama of five with previous SJC theater performances between 1992 and 1995 under Dan Haughey. She played “Mother” in Purification, “Mrs. Pugh” and a street woman in Annie, “Hippolyta” in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, “Old Annie” in Oliver, and “Brighella” in Servant of Two Masters. She played “Katie” in Meet Me in St. Louis and “Penny” in You Can’t Take it With You in Studio Scenes. She played “Eunice” in A Streetcar Named Desire for the San Juan Stage Company. Christine Cleveland started her stage experience at the age of three, modeling for local fashion shows in the Pueblo, CO. area. All through her high school and college years, she was active in school theater and summer stock. After graduating from U. of CO., in Fine Arts, she was active in church, singing and acting in small groups, bell choirs and pageants. Christine began directing church pageants in 1982. Since moving to Farmington in 1992, she has been involved in approximately 10 theater productions at San Juan College. Her last acting assignment was in several small roles in Exciting Tabernacle's A Dickens Christmas. Elaine Gayle Cleveland is a junior at Farmington High School. She has been involved in many plays including Annie, Oliver, and The Miracle Worker. She enjoys theater and hopes to further her career in it. She loves to sing and in involved in Choirs at FHS. She also spends time on debate and speech and has won many trophies and awards at tournaments. This year Elaine is excited to be involved in The Mousetrap and has really enjoyed being in the show. Richard Cleveland is the father of 5 children; 2 sons and three future brides. He has appeared in the San Juan College production of Annie as “Cordell Hull”, a “Hoovervilleite”, and as “Judge Brandeis”. He also played the bartender in the San Juan Stage Company’s melodrama, Deadwood Dick or the Lust for Gold. In addition, he played the grandfather in Studio Scenes production of Meet Me in St, Louis with his wife, his son and two of the future brides. Andrew Close was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma until he was 10 years old. He now lives in Aztec with his two sisters, step-mom and his dad. His sister's names are Hanna and Maura. His dad's name is Brian and his step-mom is Audrey. His hamster's name is Fizgig. He would like to give a special thanks to Joseph Ochs, Audrey Close and Brittany Lucero for helping him all the way through no matter what. Cassandra Cloyd is 13 years old. She moved to the Four Corners with her family just recently from Las Vegas, NV. She was in a school play there. Cassandra is very happy to serve as a “techie” for TEA’s production of Crossing Delancey. Annette Cobo was born in St. Louis, MO. She has just recently involved herself in theater, through her son, Joshua’s involvement in TEA’s productions of Bebe’s Birds and On Golden Pond. Annette assisted back stage in Bebe’s Birds. This is her first assigned production position. Manuel Cobo was born in Caracas, Venezuela He went to San Bosco School and Diego De Losada High School and attended Jose’ Maria Vargas University for 3-1/2 years. He came to America in 1997, spent some time in Miami and Atlanta and then came to Farmington to visit his friend, Joe Shallenberger. He met and married Annette Cobo here. Manuel works at IMS and they and their son, Josh, and their daughter, Celeste (both Merriman), live in Lee Acres. Bryce Cochrane (Lord Byron) began his acting career in SJC's Man of LaMancha. He has been living in Denver, and attending Horizon High School where he has been acting and doing technical theater. He hopes to continue that career here at home. He would like to thank his mother and father for their undying support. This is his first show with TEA. James des Cognets is a 13 year old, eighth grade student at Heights Middle School. His first time acting for TEA was in the production of Father of the Bride but he has worked with the tech crew on 3 different productions such as On Golden Pond and Haunted. He has worked with some of the cast members of this show before. James says, “I think that Theater Ensemble Arts is a great outlet for young talent in San Juan County.” Hunter Cole has been working with TEA for nearly two years. He has experienced almost every aspect of a production ITom creating the set, to playing on it. He is very pleased to be working in a new field this show. Enjoy the performance! Jessica Cole is 16 years old and was born and raised in Farmington. She has had other experiences on stage including pursuing her interests in flute, baritone sax, alto sax, piccolo, etc. She also participated in tap dance and ballet when she was younger. Jessica loves any type of fine arts and is very grateful to TEA for welcoming her into the family with open arms. She is very pleased that you have come to watch our wonderful play, because she has worked very hard, and hopes you have a good time. Makinsey Cole is a newcomer to theater. She is a beginning student in a drama class at Farmington High School. She is very excited to be participating in community theater. Makinsey served as Assistant to the Director of All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten. This is her first assignment on the running Crew for TEA. Seth Coleman is a 19 year old student at San Juan College. He discovered a love for theater in high school and has stayed involved in it since. He has assisted in many shows including Grease (The Musical), Go ask Allice and, most recently, A Prelude to A Kiss. This is his first show with TEA. Nathan Compton is fourteen years old and in the ninth grade at Farmington High School. This is his first year with TEA. He went into set building and the technical aspects of plays because he wanted to know how the sets were made and what went on behind the scenes. Tyler Compton is thirteen years old and is an eighth grader at Heights Middle School. His parents are Kevin and Robin Compton and he has a twin brother named Nathan. He enjoys soccer, racquetball and skateboarding. He likes the outdoors and likes fishing, boating, camping and hiking. He says, “I have seen many plays and this is the reason I became involved with set construction. I have always been curious about what goes on behind the scenes. I was interested to see how sets were built from start to finish.” Doug Cook has been writing movies for the past 11 years and, while working in the film industry as an actor and production assistant has had 9 screenplays to his credit. His film credits include the Disney film Dinosaur to be released this summer as well as Off Limits and an IMAX film about animal trainers. Doug is currently majoring in Communications at San Juan College and is a work study student in the Media Services Department, where he has just completed a documentary about Early Childhood Education. He is currently producing a documentary focusing on the Navajo Code Talkers during World War II. Karla Cruz is 19 years old. She attended Piedra Vista High School and graduated in 2006. She loves being in this program. She enjoys styling people's hair and make up and loves making people feel good about themselves. Karla is happy to learn new skills everyday. Brynn Cullander is a 10 and 3/4 years old. She’s been in five plays before and is an animal lover who loves to read, ice skate, and hike. She plays piano and the cello. One of her ambitions in life is to become a famous writer of novels. She also loves to dress up for the occasional tea parties that her sister and she have together. Brynn really likes to give presents of her extraordinary baking to people. She enjoys doing crafts during the evening too. She hopes you enjoy her acting. Camryn Cullander is nine years old and in the fourth grade. her favorite subjects are math, grammar, and history. She does Tae Kwon Do and dance. Her favorite colors are pink, purple, and blue. She’s been in Beauty and the Beast, Pirate Girl, and Stregganona. Camryn plays the violin and piano. She like to have tea parties at her house.She I likes tulips, roses, and dandelions. Her favorite restaurant is Applebees. She enjoys ice skating and hiking. Nicholas Cullander was born in Washington D.C. and fled west after high school. He settled in the Four Corner's area due, in large part, to its proximity to the natural wonders of the mountains, forests, rivers and canyons. His prior theatrical experiences are limited to one as "Merriman" in Oscar Wilde's The Importance of Being Earnest whilst in high school. Currently he practices law in San Juan County. Tracy Cullander was born in New York into a military family. She moved every few years until she settled in the Four Corners area in 1989. She worked as the office manager for her husband's law office until the birth of their first child. Now Tracy spend my days and nights taxiing her kids to their various activities. She has never been in a theatrical performance before, so this is a brand new experience. Krystle Cuthair is 20 years old, grew up in Shiprock, NM and graduated from Shiprock High School. She is currently working on her associates degree in Cosmetology and is almost done. In the future she hopes to study in culinary and massage therapy along with Cosmetology. Shaylynn Cutshaw is a student at Kirtland Central High School. She is a varsity captain on the cheerleading squad. She is a junior and became interested in drama while taking a drama class at her high school. This is her first production with TEA. Shaylynn is 16 years old and was born on February 13th . Her parents are Michael and Sharla and she is very close with her family. Her best friend is Tory Belveal. The love of her life is Eddie Lovato. She is very passionate about academics and strives to succeed in anything into which she ventures. She is also teaching herself to play the guitar. David Davis is 20 years old, is from Bloomfield, and graduated from the high school there. He is currently enrolled at SJC and enjoys acting, dancing, fencing and the martial arts. He has performed in The Importance of Being Ernest and Black River Traders. This is his first performance for TEA and hopes to continue to work with them. Gayle Dell'Aringa has had the "acting itch" ever since she was in the Drama Club at Aztec High School. Unfortunately, she had little opportunity over the years to perform on stage. However, since returning to her "home stomps", she's enthusiastically jumped back in to community theatre. She is particularly proud of her recent performances including "Steel Magnolias", "Crazy for You", "Cyrano de Bergerac", "All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten", "Much Ado About Nothing", "A Midsummer's Night Dream", "Antigone", "Blithe Spirit", and "Enter Laughing". Jason Densley grew up in Farmington, and is a graduate of Farmington High School where he was very involved with the Scorpion Sound Regiment Band and FHS Choir. He has been involved in many plays including Pirates of Penzence, Picasso at the Lapin Agile, Tartuffe, Crossing Delancey and most recently, A Christmas Carol. Annette Di Giacomo is a 2005 graduate of Farmington High and began acting there in her freshman year. She appeared in several shows and moved on to continue acting at ENMU in Portales, NM. There she was cast in one student written play performed in Kabuki style, called Something's Amuck. She was also in ENMU's production of A Midsummer Night's Dream, in which she played Hippolyta. Annette's has not been in a performance in over a year is very thrilled to be a part of this production and hopes you enjoy. Jared Ryan Dial is sixteen years old and goes to Farmington High School where he is in Honor Society. He has one sister named Dasha and his parents are Ron and Sue Dial. He also has two dogs, Ginger and Haley. Some things that he enjoys doing are: playing golf, practicing the piano, listening to music, and hanging out with my friends and family. Jared is involved with Student Senate at Farmington High School, and is one of the eleventh grade class representatives. Beverly Doetzel is an active grandmother of 12 and great Grandmother of 11, and first came to Aztec in 1957, where she worked as an executive secretary and accountant. Retirement in Tucson, Arizona opened doors of creativity and she began writing. Poetry, plays and musical variety shows made for a busy life for 22 years. Returning to Aztec to be near her extensive family in 1999 included volunteering as choir director at her church thru the Christmas Cantata 2001. A brief venture into the retail business made retirement look even better. Gardening, music crafts and grandchildren keep her busy, but civic projects are also interesting. Having been Backstage Manager for TEAs production of Moon Over Buffalo, Beverly is expanding her knowledge of the technology used in local productions by designing and dressing the set for this show. Debbie Doggett has worked onstage and backstage for numerous productions for TEA, San Juan College, and the Durango Repertory Theatre. She is a founding member and former board president of TEA. She currently works with In The Dark Productions, a local community theatre formed to promote local artists. Emily Doggett is a student at Community of Learners in Durango. She has performed in James and the Giant Peach, The Miracle Worker and Brighton Beach Memoirs, and has worked backstage for various other productions. John Downing is from Aztec, and has spent many years in the Marine Corps. When he returned to civilian life he found it was time to continue his education. Currently John is a work study for Public Events at San Juan College where he is working on his fourth semester of study. He will graduate with honors in the summer of 2008. Jodi Dragony has performed in many productions at San Juan College and in the community. Her favorite roles include "Glenda, the Good Witch in Wizard of Oz, "Aldonza in Man of La Mancha; "Miss Hannigan in Annie, "Ado Annie in Oklahoma, "Violet in David's Star, "Mary in Hopi and for three seasons as "Lillie in Anasazi, The Ancient Ones. Her first role with TEA was as "Queenie in Bell, Book and Candle. Jodi is a Speech/Language Pathologist at Farmington Special Preschool. She is the mother of two "theatrical daughters and has a theatrically supportive husband. Megan Dragony is currently a senior at Farmington High School. There she is active in drama.. Her theater credits include "Mrs. Chauvenet and "E.J. Lofgren, the cabby, in the TEA production of Harvey, "Aunt Queenie in Bell Book and Candle "Virginia Lear in Do Black Patent Leather Shoes Really Reflect Up?, "Lisa in David and Lisa, "Liz Kirtland in Dreams and Drill Bits, and as "Romain in Witness for the Prosecution. Steven Dragony makes his first appearance on stage since the fifth grade, when he performed in Santa and the Spaceman. He did have a recent performance as San Juan Colleges Boars Feast ,where her portrayed a wandering minstrel and sang a solo in the Wassail Song, and "rather enjoyed wearing tights, actually. Steve is looking forward to playing Robin Hood or some other swashbuckler, when and if the opportunity presents itself. "Hmm, tights .., yeah, thats the ticket!! Krista Draper is a great person with a wonderful personality. Matt Drayer started his acting career 19 years ago when he pretended to be born, and hes been living a lie ever since. He is proud to have acted in such plays as David and Lisa, You Cant Take It With You, A Dickens Christmas Carol, and Haunted (in which his bald head earned critical acclaim). For his role in The English Patient Matt won an Academy Award in an alternate universe. And guess what ladies hes still single! Wink! Wink! Scott Drayer is a junior at FHS, where he is actively involved as publicist in the Drama Club. Last year he was named Best Supporting Actor at the FHS Spotlight Awards for his role as "Ellard in The Foreigner. His other interests include cross-country running and art. Tomm Duke has directed productions of Black Comedy, Father of the Bride, Dial "M" for Murder, and Enter Laughing. He has been seen on stage as "Elwood" in Harvey and as "Murray" in A Thousand Clowns. Jessie Dupre is very excited to be working with TEA again. She has been doing theatre with TEA since she was 13. TEA has become a home and a second family. She hopes you enjoy the show. Charlie DuRae was born and raised in Farmington, She left in 1974 for college in Long Beach, California, and returned in 2001 as a cosmetologist. She worked here locally for a few years and then bought her own shop, Charlie's Clips and Cuts, located at 421 E. Broadway, in 2003. Kris DuRae was born and raised in Oklahoma City. He is 14 years old and is a 7th grader at Heights Middle School. He came to Farmington in 2001.His hobbies are drawing and collecting medieval weaponry and loves Lord of the Rings movies and books. Erin Duran is enrolled in the San Juan College Cosmetology program. She chose this field because she knew she would get to talk to and interact with others. Her greatest reward will come from seeing her clients happy when they leave her chair Gary Durham has an associate degree in Substance Abuse Counseling from SJC, a bachelors degree in Social Work from NMHU and is working on his masters degree from NMHU at SJC. He has been involved in community theater since 1986 when he joined the San Juan Stage Company and did a lot of tech work (his passion) in the old Totah Theater helping design and build sets. He has been involved in some productions at San Juan College as well. His one "claim to fame is that he played "Wild Bill in the first and second productions of Deadwood Dick. Gary says he loves EVERYTHING about theater. Joan Earnshaw has been interested in and worked in a variety of art mediums for many years. Her works reflect her interests in archeology/history and life experiences. She currently does sculpture in stone and papier mache, as well as sandstone panels which reproduce authentic petroglyph designs. She has studied sculpture with Oreland Joe, pottery with Robin Renner, and stained glass with Chris Garrett of Sun Glass in Farmington as well as doing much self-directed study. Her work has been shown at Crystal Visions Gallery in Farmington, San Juan College Gallery and was accepted for inclusion in the Ouray, CO, annual juried art show. She has also participated in numerous local shows. Joan has taught an annual stone sculpture workshop for the San Juan Gem and Mineral Society Anjulia Ebanks-Rivera is anticipating her second year with TEA. She was raised in Southern California and is now living in Farmington. She has had a passion for acting ever since she could remember. Her TV commercial credits include Inside Ideas, Temporarily Yours, Clancy's Pub Restaurant and United Way. Anjulias theatre credits include Black Comedy and The Anniversary. Alison Edwards is a senior at Farmington High School. She participates in Advanced Acting with Dave Huber. She works part time at 3 Rivers Eatery & Brewhouse as a hostess and is kept busy with 4 AP classes, a German night course at SJC, and acting. She hopes to pursue her career as an actress and eventually appear on Saturday Night Live. Proposals is Alison's first TEA production and she hopes to continue with plays at San Juan College. Amanda Edwards is a sophomore at Farmington High School where she participates in diving and band. In her spare time she baby-sits, enjoys writing poems, and doing obnoxious amounts of homework. Amanda enjoys theater, and when asked about her first experience on stage, she replied, "I am having a lot of fun and hope to do some more soon. Zane Echols live in Farmington with his 5 vehicles, 3 children, 3 dogs, 1 lovely wife, and " a partridge in a pear tree. Being new to the stage, he asks that you "be gentle with him. Although interested in theater from junior high school through college, he never took the time to be an actor. Now that he has performed before a live audience, Zane guarantees us that we will be seeing more of him. In his spare time he enjoys books, movies and fencing. Evan Elliott names this his first production with TEA. He has appeared in the Farmington High School productions of Hard Candy and The Diviners. Other than "acting out", Evan enjoys swimming, running, playing video games and especially 4 wheeling. He hopes you enjoy the show and recommends auditioning for a TEA production to anyone. Jordan Lee Emig is 15-years-old and this is his first show with TEA ,but he isn't completely new to acting. He has been in three plays with the drama program at Aztec High School. He has been in Personal Effects, Booby Trap, and The Toys Take Over Christmas. He will also be starring in Mugsy Sent Me!. Jordan spends most of his time hanging with his friends, playing guitar, or reading books by his favorite author, Stephan King. Jordan has had a lot of fun working on this production and hopes you will enjoy the show. Rob Ewing was born and raised in the Four Corners area. He enjoys playing guitar and singing, but his real passion lies in drawing and painting. He is a published illustrator and poet. Rob is also a fan of watching cartoons and baseball with his 6 year old son. This play is his first attempt at theater, although he plans to do more acting in the future. Edie Farm and her husband, Paul, moved to Farmington mid-December 1999, a move she didn't anticipate but has never regretted. Since their arrival, she has accompanied school choirs in Aztec and Farmington, subbed at First Presbyterian Churches in Farmington and Aztec, and joined in the formation of The Vintage People. Currently she serves as accompanist for two choirs at Farmington High School, organist at Bethany Christian Church, accompanist for Four Comers Children's Choir, and keyboardist with The Vintage People. Edie has always wanted to playa melodrama, and TEA has provided that opportunity. Thank you, TEA!!! Elliott Farrell is 16 years old and a 10th grader at FHS. He decided get his feet wet four seasons ago by working back stage for TEA on the running crews for Bell, Book and Candle, Wait Until Dark Proposals and Bebe's Birds. He made his own successful acting debut as "Xander" in the Tarxan Production of The Little Boy Who Fished from the Moon, and played roles in both casts of TEA's Father of the Bride. Elliot was the "man behind the flying coffee can" in Moon Over Buffalo. He says "he likes being 'on-stage' and will now audition when possible roles come along". Emily Farrell is a senior at Farmington High School. She is a Senior Girl Scout and has received her Silver Award and is working on her Gold Award. She has been in many productions such as Black River Traders, Do Black Patent Leather Shoes Really Reflect Up, Dreams and Drill Bits, You Cant Take It With You, Blood Wedding and The Night of January 16th. Last year she co-managed properties for Moon Over Buffalo. Heather N. Faust was born in Farmington NM. She is 11 years old and goes to Park Ave. School in Aztec. She likes to play soccer, piano, sing, act and loves cats. She is a part of the choir in her church. This is the first real play shes has been in and is excited and a little nervous. She says, "Mom, Dad and Gramma are my biggest fans." Tamara Faust has lived in San Juan County all her life. Although she has seen several theatrical productions this is the first opportunity she has to participate. She says, "I am honored to be a part if this cast and blessed to be surrounded by so many talented people. Jim Fentiman was born and raised in California but has made his home in Farmington for the past 13 years.. He owns a local plumbing company. He spends most of his time with his family or volunteering at church. Jim has been married for 17 years and has two beautiful daughters, Sarah, 13 and Lu, 6. This is Jim's fourth production with TEA and he thanks his father for teaching him to make time for the things he loves, like theatre. Josh Ferrier is nine years old and a third grader at Northeast Elementary School. He says of himself, "I take karate and art lessons, my favorite color is Black, my nickname is Taz, I like to skate, my favorite school subject is Writing and I hate Math. Josh collects coins from all over the world, has five cats and is going to get a dog this summer. His favorite things are "Taz, TV, Money, Black and Me. His favorite movies are Titanic, Set It Off, and Con Air. He first appeared as "Santa Claus in The Polar Express in December 1997. Ramona Ferrier was raised and educated in Farmington. She received her BA and Elementary Education Certificate from Fort Lewis College in 1992. She loves movies and books. Ramona's main interest in theater is to encourage her son's desire to act. This is her first assignment in Hair and Makeup execution. She has attended all rehearsals and enjoyed watching the actors as the play evolved. Chris Ferris is a junior at Farmington High School. He is making his theatrical debut in this production. He says, "this play has been an enjoyable experience, and he is looking forward to the next one. Chris is also on the Speech and Debate Team at the High School. He is on an award winning Duo Team with fellow cast member, Elaine Cleveland. He says he has found The Mousetrap to be an excellent beginning, and he is excited to be part of it. Nathan Finch started acting in Montana in the eighth grade (aged 14). He got his first role in Romeo and Juliet as "Tibald. His second part came in the summer of 1996, at age 16, when he played "Centipede in James and the Giant Peach, a childrens play, produced by San Juan College, quickly followed by the role of "Ferdinand, a romantic character in The Tempest. Mark Fischer is an 8th grader and has only been in one major play, Anasazi, The Ancient Ones. In school he plays the violin for the Mesa View Elementary School Orchestra and the Piedra Vista High School symphony orchestra. He also sings and has competed in solo and ensemble choirs. His sports are diving and swimming. Mark likes Bell, Book and Candle and likes to work under his mother, Paula. He likes, also, the person he is playing and is very much involved with his character. He is glad that he was selected for the play and the part that he got. Paula Fischer has been involved in theater for 30 years. Some of her favorite shows include Brigadoon, Little Mary Sunshine, The Music Man, Man of La Mancha, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and Anasazi, The Ancient Ones. For the past seven years she has performed in a traveling ensemble with Sharon French. She is the mother of five, mother-in-law of two and grandmother of one. Theater is her second love - after her family. Enjoy the show.Patricia Fleming is from London, U.K., and has "spent too many years to mention as an RN." Her other passion is the theater. She has spent the last 5 years enjoying life here in New Mexico. So far she hasn't lost her British accent. Previously in the U.K.,7 she performed diverse roles in many Christmas pantomimes (which are the theatrical presentations of children's fairy stories)and has appeared in productions of The Importance of Being Ernest and plays by Alan Ackborne. Patricia also has directed Blythe Spirit and Cinderella . She served as Assistant Stage Director for Dial "M" for Murder and as Dialect Coach for Angel Street Emily Fletcher is currently a sophomore at Piedra Vista High School, where she participates in both drama and choir. She also runs on the Cross Country team and is treasurer of National Honors Society. Her acting ranges from "Lucy" in the Delta Psi Omega production of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe to characters in school performances, such as "Raja Englanderova" in I Never Saw Another Butterfly and "Alice" in the musical Groovy. She has worked with TEA previously as "Miss Johnson" in the Young Artists production of Harvey. Emily is now proud to work with TEA once again in Father of the Bride. Sarah Fletcher, age 11, is a student at Country Club Elementary School. Samantha Flitter was born in Erie, Pennsylvania, and now lives in Farmington. She's in the 11th grade at Heights Middle School. She likes to read and play the guitar. Her favorite subjects in school are Art and English. Samantha has two older sisters and lives with her mom and dad. Her grandmother was an actress in Vaudeville, and she inspired Samantha to want to act. She is very happy to be a part of this production. Miranda Foreman has served two times as costume designer for TEA productions. Her involvement with TEA did not stop backstage, however, as she also served as TEAs Web Master. Miranda also publishes the small press magazine, 69 Flavors of Paranoia with her husband, Rycke Foreman. Rycke Foreman started on stage with TEA in 1997 in Plaza Suite. His next role, in TEAs The Mousetrap, earned him a Best Supporting Actor Award. He has gone onto numerous other roles, including those in commercials and film. Rycke can next be seen reprising his role as "Lucas in Rhinoceros Hides at the AACTFest Festival in March. Jeane Foster is a relative newcomer to stage productions although she has done a lot of work with the Showcase Concert series, and produced many musical shows with her students. She works as an elementary music teacher at Ladera del Norte Elementary here in Farmington. Jeane is busy nearly all the time, however, as she plays piano at her church and accompanies several musicians in the area. "I wanted to get a closer look at the mechanisms of stage productions. I knew I could use what I learned in my work at school."Krystle Franklin grew up in Pagosa Springs, Colorado and graduated in May 2004 from PHS. She's always been very interested in cosmetology--it runs in the family. She plan to move to Las Vegas, Nevada when she's finished here and would like to continue her education in make-up. Another dream of hers is to be a fashion designer. There is a design school in Las Vegas. Josh Frazier has been involved in Drama for many years and has done work with musicals and comedy. He has much range with roles from evil televangelistic preachers to love-sick, balcony jumping strippers. He is supported by a loving family and a wonderful girlfriend. To everyone else carpe diem and the Class of 2004 rocks! Kellee Freeburn loves drama and has been involved in theater most of her life. She hopes to continue for some time to come. Her family is the most important & influential people in her life and she is very thankful for them. Kellees main goal right now is to become an honor thespian by the time she graduates. Clint French is 16 years old and goes to Bloomfield High School.. He has been interested in the Performing Arts since he was a young boy. Harvey is his first play. Susan French recently moved to this area from San Antonio. She and her husband own The Main Street Bistro in downtown Aztec. Susan has been involved in dance and theater for many years and has worked extensively in Youth Group theater. Annabelle Friddle is a new comer to the study of Theater Arts. With a graduate degree in Geology and Petroleum Engineering from the University of Texas (Austin), she worked for Humble Oil and Refining Company (now Exxon Corporation ) and retired as A District Geologist in the Southwest Texas Division. She has been active with Project Read and other activities of San Juan College and serves as a member of the San Juan College Foundation Board. She is enjoying her work with TEA. Tony Gaddy says, "I'm 6'-3" and trust me, being tall has its disadvantages. He is a student at San Juan College, working on his Associate of General Studies degree. He enjoys most outdoor activities, especially camping, mountain biking and fishing. Eventually he would like to retire with a fish hatchery and fishing ponds. His goals include working as a park ranger in the Florida Everglades National Park and raising a family of two children. This is his second role with TEA; his first was as "Mr. Paravicini in the Young Artists production of The Mousetrap. He says, "I'd like to be cast in many more plays. Heather Gaehle hails from St. Louis, Mo. and recently graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia. While working for a degree in Textile and Apparel Management she worked with the theater department as a costume attendant. She has never participated as an actress in any theatrical piece but has been involved in dance for eight years. She works for Big Brothers and Big Sisters as a case manager. Heathers future plans include returning to school to work towards a teaching certificate. Although she was "lured onto the stage by a persistent friend, she is delighted to be involved in this humorous show. Tracyl Gandee was born in Portland, Oregon and raised in Sterling, Colorado. He attended Colorado State University where he majored in Speech Communications. In 1996 he moved from Pensacola, Florida to Farmington where most of his immediate family resides. His experience in theater began in 1981 when he performed the role of "Henry Miller in Calamity Jane. Tracyl's last performance was in was in Mark Sumners Black River Traders in which he portrayed "Tall Hat. This will be Tracyle second season with TEA. Bob Gandrup is the Public events coordinator at San Juan College. He has an extensive theater resume which includes working as a Technical Technician for SJC as well as the International Alliance of Theater and Stage. He has acted as designer for operas like Barber of Seville and Susanna, and directed Marriage Proposal, Jubilee, and The Miracle Worker at SJC. Bob recently completed an assignment directing Glass Menagerie for performance at San Juan College and at the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival XXX in El Paso, Texas, were it won an award for best debut production. PJ Gillen counts this as her second production for TEA. She was last seen in Night Watch as "Helga, the German Maid". She, her husband John and her son Allen have lived in Farmington for two years, moving here from Southern Kansas. She's done too many plays to list here and is always grateful for wonderful audiences that come to performances and have a great time. Laugh and enjoy the show. Richard Gilliam currently resides in Phoenix, AZ with his wife, Katie and two sons, Luke and Ethan. In his current break from the stage, he is employed by the US Post Office. He is also the lead singer for the hard rock band, Verga. You may remember him from TEA productions of The Mousetrap, Harvey, and Proposals, which was his last performance in Farmington. Although he loves life, and his budding music career, Rich hopes to return to the Farmington stage someday, and work with all of his friends again on another TEA classic. Carrie Gibson, aka "Kitty Kat recently graduated from high school and is now experiencing college life. She enjoys both listening to and playing music, writing poetry and hanging out with her friends. This is her second time as a running crew tech and enjoys it as much as being on stage. Cheryl Gilbert has acted in plays since kindergarten and took English Drama all through high school. In Staten Island, NY. She moved to Farmington in 1997 and came to work for TEA in July of this year. She has been working in the scene shop helping in all aspects of whichever production is being worked upon as well as handling numerous administrative duties. Kacey Gipson is 16 years old and is junior at Aztec High School. He started acting in theater in 1996 when he got a part in Anasazi, The Ancient Ones and Black River Traders. He enjoys acting as well as reading and playing chess. Shaun Goodsell is a 16 year old at Farmington High. He is an active member of the band and is goal keeper fro the Soccer team. Last year was his first year with TEA. He played "Ben in Father of the Bride and did sound execution for Moon Over Buffalo. He is looking forward to future TEA productions. Savanna M. Godwin was born in Farmington on Sept. 20, 1997. She lives with her two Loving parents, Les and Geraldine Godwin and a loving Grandmother Elaine Godwin, who have encouraged her in everything she does. She currently attends the 4th grade at McKinley Elementary School, where her favorite subject is Music. She has attended the Dance for Him Dance School and participated in a recital for that school. She has been in five plays starting back in kindergarten. Her belief is that God had made us all actors on the stage of life. So, act, act, act. Andrew Gomez is in his fourth year with TEA. He has recently come back from his joyous yet strenuous, 8 week film program at the New York Film Academy (NYFA) where he directed four films. His previous stage appearance with TEA was in this season's Night Watch. He graduated from Bloomfield High School (Class of 2007). Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd are still his favorite bands and he is closer to becoming the world's greatest filmmaker. Melissa Gonzales attends the San Juan College Cosmetology Program. This is her first year in the program. Her class is fun and very lively with lots of laughs. She decided to go into this program because she loves making people look beautiful and helping them feel great about themselves. She learned a lot so far about personalities and is confident this work field will always be busy, interesting and the best part is that she believes that she'll never stop learning new tricks. Connie Gotsch has worked backstage for Theater Ensemble Arts many times, but this is her first time directing for TEA. Her play, Or Are You Cinderella, won third place in the San Juan College Biannual One-Act Play Writing Contest. Another of her pieces, A New Delight was presented in New York’s Soho District by the Saturday Players, as part of Charles Pike’s “The Farmington Armada. Gotsch has written the suspense/thriller, Snap Me a Future, and the mainstream/romance e-novel POD, A Mouth Full of Shell, both available from DLSIJpress.com. She is Program Director of KSJE 90.9 FM, Public Radio in Farmington. Adam Graham is currently enrolled at Piedra Vista High School where is taking two Advanced Placement class and is very active in the drama program, is the drama club secretary, a member of the International Thespian Society and the National Honor Society. Since1998 Adam has been involved in twenty productions and has enjoyed every minute of each. His previous roles with TEA include "Mr Redlitch in the Young Artists production of Bell, Book and Candle and "Ken Norman in Neil Simons comedy Proposals. In the future Adam plans to attend college and study both acting and producing, one day to do both professionally. Briana Grubb is 15 years old and has been excited about acting her whole life. Born and raised in Farmington, she has acted in two plays in grammar school, and attends Piedra Vista High School. She spends her time drawing, riding horses, and camping. Although this is her first full production, her goal is to entertain you with many more theater productions. Thank you. Renee Haig is currently a senior at Piedra Vista High School. She has appeared in many productions including Letters to Lucerne in 1998, as Mistress Quickly in Shakespeares Merry Wives of Windsor in 1999, and as Mrs. Hardcastle in She Stoops to Conquer in 2000. She plans on continuing her theater studies into college. This is her first play with TEA and she is very excited about it. She feels privileged to be working with such an exceptional cast. Richard Hallock has been involved with TEA for 3 seasons. His work includes, but is not limited to, stage photography for Harvey, Crimes of the Heart and The Odd Couple-Female Version. Richard has studied photography at San Juan College for four years. Bob Hammond is 17 years of age and is attending Farmington High School. He has worked with TEA on the running crew, starting with pulling the curtains for Too Soon for Daisies. His first acting role in a TEA play was in Whiz Bang Cafe. He enjoys drama with his many friends. He hopes you enjoy the show. Lydia Hasenbalg is a student as SJC and has been involved with theater since she caught the "bug four years ago. She has participated in every aspect of theater, including directing, stage managing, and appearing in shows such as The Diary of Anne Frank and Fantastiks. She served as Assistant Stage Manager for Brighton Beach Memoirs. In her spare time she enjoys writing poetry, singing Karaoke, and watching every movie and theatrical production possible. Dustin Harrington moved to Farmington from San Diego, Calif. at the age of 5. He has been active in choir and art since he was in preschool. He started in theatre when he was a freshman at Piedra Vista HS, continued on at Aztec High and finally Farmington high school. He performed in A Tribute to Vaudevilles and Good Company. The Cats Away is his third performance. He enjoys singing, writing, drawing and culinary arts. Roger Harrison is 44 year's old and was born in Indio, California. He spent most of my life living in Southern California. He has lived in Bloomfield for the last 8 years. His first experience with theatre was for a community theatre's production of Little Shop of Horrors for which he and his brother built the puppets. Roger is a computer specialist for San Juan Regional Medical Center. He also helps his wife teach technical theatre at Aztec High School. Taylor Haskell began building theater sets in 1990. Piper's Opera House in Virginia City, Nevada was the first theater in which he worked. This was followed by several seasons of volunteer carpentry at theaters in Tacoma, Washington. Here in Farmington, he thoroughly enjoys the people and the energy of Theater Arts Ensemble. Working with TEA is, for him, a unique way to contribute to the local community. Violet Haugland was born and raised in Minnesota. After high school graduation, Vi moved to Minneapolis, where she met Keith, her husband of forty-one years. After finishing school, Vi and Keith moved to ND where Keith was editor of a weekly newspaper. They came to Farmington in late September of 1998. Vi is the President of the Board of Governors of Theater Ensemble Arts, Inc. Vi's greatest joy is her family. She feels blessed with a truly wonderful husband, two wonderful kids and a granddaughter. Jenny Hawk is a new arrival not only to theater, but also to the United States. She was born in the City of Kings; Lima Peru and is proud of her Inca heritage. After learning to drive Jenny began taking classes at San Juan College including English. Jenny is currently working at the Farmington Library where she learned about this opportunity. Her interest and desire to learn lead her to audition. So unless you count visiting Universal Studios with her college class, this is Jenny's first experience in the theater, but who knows what the future may hold for her. Sally Heath is the Director of Theatre at San Juan College. This is her second year at the college. Joey Herring has appeared in numerous productions portraying such characters as "Kate" in The Taming of the Shrew, "Adrianna" in The Comedy of Errors, "Suzy Hendricks" in Wait Until Dark, "Linus" in You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown, "Diane" in Sister Mary Ignatius Explains it All, "Kaitlen" in Smokeless, and "Elaine" in Neil Simon's Last of the Red Hot Lovers. Her directing credits include Best Christmas Pageant Ever, Arsenic and Old Lace, Tomb With A View and the award winning Crimes of the Heart and Bus Stop. Joey is the co-founder of "In the Dark Productions", a non-profit theatre company in Farmington. Jessica Hewett is a 15 year old freshman at Farmington High School, where she is in the beginning drama class. She has enjoyed working in hospitality for TEA.Natalie Hewett is a 17 year old junior at Farmington High School where she is in the intermediate drama class. She has enjoyed working in hospitality for TEA. Patsy Hewett has been involved in all aspects of the Arts. She performed in The Unsinkable Molly Brown and in Reader's Theater. She served on the board of TEA and has served on various committees. Patsy designed and dressed the set for Haunted and worked on costuming Father of the Bride and continues to work in the Scene Shop painting sets. She worked as Assistant Set Dresser for Black Comedy and Scapin. She also served as Assistant Set Designer and Set Dresser for Bus Stop and was Assistant Director and set dresser for the 2003 production of Too Soon for Daisies. She served as Set Dresser for all productions for the past few seasons. Jonathan Higgins is a 17, almost 18 year old. He will be graduating next year from high school. His life centers around music. He has a passion for music and loves playing his guitar and writing songs. He also has a great interest in acting. He wants to be either an actor or singer or both. He hasnt done too much acting, but feels he is not too bad at it. He plans on making acting or music into a career. Ashley Hodges is a 2006 Farmington High School graduate and is currently attending her first semester of cosmetology school at SJC. Her other passions are dance (she was the Kelly Green Captain), and fashion design. Once she graduates in May of 2008 she plans to move to Burbank, CA., to attend the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandise full time and the Make-up Design Professional Make-up Artist School part time. Murphy Hollie is a 17 year old senior at Aztec High School. For his second production with TEA he still doesnt know what to expect. He performed in Sandstone Productions Dreams and Drill Bits and Black River Traders. This future sailor is looking forward to this production. Charles Holmes grew up in Farmington. He went to Farmington High School in 1980 - 1983 and spent most of his time in the drama department with Chuck Ramsey as his drama teacher. Everything he knows about acting he learned from Mr. Ramsey. He came back two years ago and thought he might do a little theatre and now he can't stop! In the past two years his acting resume has grown to include Enter Laughing, Run for Your Wife and The Author's Voice. He has been a licensed Realtor for 14 years. He considers Farmington the best place in the world and wouldn't live anywhere else. He has a beautiful wife and three lovely sons who all completely support his efforts in theatre. Michelle Holmes joined TEA in support of the husband/actor Chuck Holmes. She was properties manager and head running crew for The Author's Voice. She acted in her first play for San Juan College last year, The Yard Sale, directed by April Anderson. She has also "dipped her toe" into the independent film business; look for her appearance in Dissident by Jeremy Orr at the Santa Fe Film Festival. She has enjoyed working with the TEA family and hopes you are thoroughly entertained by this production of Dear Brutus. Talon Holmes became involved with TEA because both of his parents work with TEA. He has been an actor in an anti-methadone advertisement that played at local theatres. He is learning theater from the bottom up. Jeanette Holsinger is currently enrolled in the Barber Program. She choose this career because she enjoys helping people to look and feel their best. When done with this program she hopes to open her own salon and build a clientele. Adam Houghton began his acting career in 5th grade playing a marble rolling boy in Sandstone's production of Dreams and Drill Bits. He has since graduated to such high school performances as Schoolhouse Rock Live, My Fair Lady, and various one act plays. He was recently awarded first place in the San Juan Theatre Festival for his comedic monologue and dramatic duet. He has between actively involved in Piedra Vista High School's drama program for the last 4 years and is excited to branch off into community theatre programs. Connor Houghton is a 7th grade student at Mesa View Middle School. This is his first show as active participant but has been known to show his face backstage since age five, watching his mom apply makeup and wigs. He has had a lot of fun learning to build and paint sets, but also loves basketball, football and video gaming. Lisa Houghton names this her first undertaking as Director. Having acted extensively and Assistant Directed under her mentor, Chuck Ramsey, she has had a blast (exhausting though it has been) wearing the hat of the person on the other side of the stage. The collaboration of creative minds has been incredibly rewarding. She wants to extend a great big thanks to Chuck Ramsey who guided her through harrowing points and taught her to relax and enjoy the ride. Oh, and what a ride it was!!!! Makenzie Houghton is a senior at Piedra Vista High School. She was actively involved in drama as a freshman and learned "techie" work while working on such shows as My Fair Lady and Shindig. Theatre has been a constant presence in her life since the age of 10, and though she enjoys participating in a minor capacity her true love is interior design and art. Crystal Hubert is a senior at Farmington High School and a member of their drama class. She says, "I am young, perky, and always have a smile in my back pocket. I really dont know anything about building a set, but thanks to TEA Ive learned a few things. My hobbies revolve around entertainment because its a beautiful thing! Elva Hudson is thrilled to be back on stage with TEA, especially in her most favorite play. Each character is special, but she hopes she does credit to the wit & grace of "Clairee". Elva's acting credits include "Amanda Wingfield" in the SJC Theater Departments production of Tennessee WilIiams' The Glass Menagerie, as well as the following TEA Productions: "Mrs. Boyle" in The Mousetrap, "Chick Boyle" in Crimes of the Heart, "Bessie" in Marvin's Room, "Annie Robbins" in Proposals, "Mrs. Stevenson" in Sorry, Wrong Number, "Miss Bellamy" in Father of the Bride, and "Charlotte Hay" in Moon Over Buffalo. Jack Huntsman comes to TEA with a limited background in theater on-stage and off. His work in the scene shop has been a wonderful experience: seeing the drawings come to life and the complexity with which that happens. What he has learned deepens and broadens his appreciation of all that occurs before and after the curtain goes up. Jack sends his thanks to those who are nurturing his education. I Top Leslie Ibarra is a full time student at San Juan College. She graduated from the Cosmetology Program last May with an Associates Degree and is now attending classes to get her Cosmetology Instructor's License. She will graduate in May 2007 and then hopes to open a salon/school in her home town of Cortez, Colorado. Leslie has 3 children and absolutely loves the industry she has chosen as her profession. She have been participating in theatrical makeup for about a year now and I finds it very rewarding. She has a strong passion for what she does and loves making people feel good about themselves. Jolyne Ihly is a resident of Pagosa Springs, CO. She is currently enrolled at San Juan College School of Cosmetology as an Esthetician student. She will complete the program in May 2006 and plans to work as a manicurist and esthetician at Healing Waters Spa and Salon in Pagosa. Leigh Irvin grew up in Farmington, and moved away to work in D.C. and overseas for the federal government. She returned to Farmington with her husband and family from a 3 year tour in Warsaw to work as an FBI agent, and began to get involved in theatre at that time. They are now back home for good! Leigh is now doing Federal Background Investigations and works at San Juan College part-time. Her acting experience includes roles in Sandstone Production's Dreams and Drill Bits and TEA's Moon Over Buffalo. Amber Jacquez is an active member of the acting community with TEA, Sandstone Productions and at Farmington High School. She plans to attend college and study Practical and Technical Theater. Although she has beem involved in many productions, this is her first time doing costumes for TEA. She wants you to know that "All the Worlds a Stage and the Men and Woman merely Players and that "Theater is Magic. Enjoy the Show. Raven Jacquez calls this her second experience with TEA. She is joining us this time as a hair and makeup assistant. As she is around the production team, she hopes to learn more about the theater and TEA. Martin D. Jacquez, sees it as a privilege to be involved in local community theatre for the past 25 years! . He performed at San Juan College in One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, as "Chief Bromden", "The Raven" in The Birds, and a rowdy barroom extra in Ten Nights in a Barroom. He was also cast in a PBS film titled The Everlasting. It opened his eyes as to how difficult film is and how much fun it is to do live theatre. Four years ago he was invited to audition for TEA and was cast in two wonderful plays, Dial M for Murder and The Spiral Staircase. He looks forward to performing in Love Sex and the IRS for you all to enjoy. Paige Jackson loves to go four wheeling and hang out with my boyfriend, and she loves doing other people's hair! She enjoys making others feel better about themselves, as this is one of the great rewards about participating in this type of activity. She hopes one day to be fortunate enough to own a salon. Ted Jameson remains deeply committed to San Juan County's music and theater life, and happily returns to TEA for the complex role of "Dr. Gerald Lyman, "a drunken, unruly child. Among Ted's roles over the last few years are "Bellamy" in The Fantistics, the title role in Man of La Mancha, "Arvide" in Guys and Dolls, "Canon Chasuble" in The Importance of Being Earnest, "Sidney" in Bell, Book and Candle, "Father O'Reilly" in Do Black Patent Leather Shoes Reflect Up?, and "Baptista" in The Taming of the Shrew. In concert work, he has been tenor soloist in Handel's Messiah, Mozarts Requiem, Schubert's Mass No. 3, and Carl Orff's Carmina Burana. Terry Ann T. Joe has been counting the days until the Cosmetology program started. She can't wait to come every day and learn new things. She plans to finish this program with a degree and become a successful hairstylist. Freida John started her theater work with Anasazi, The Ancient Ones back in 1989, both acting and helping with props. She was an actress in Black River Traders and worked as Properties Mistress for the SJC production of Matchmaker last fall. She is also the mother of Kacey and Carrie Gipson, talented young artists, and is very proud and supportive of them, which makes theater a "family thing. Vikki Johnson is originally from New Mexico, but is a self-proclaimed "gypsy". She's currently enrolled in the cosmetology program here at SJC. She hopes to bring a different type of style to this area through her acquired skills after completing the program. She is an armature hoop dancer (not native American style) and armature fire/poi dancer as well as a professional piercier. In her free time she enjoys B-Movies, grilled cheese sandwiches, and changing her hair color every month. Lindsey Jolley is a senior at Piedra Vista High School. She also works as a hostess at Chilis Restaurant. As a freshman in Oklahoma, she was asked to be in a large production Off-Broadway plays, and "the acting bug bit. Since moving back to Farmington, in 1997, she has been an many school plays and wishes to continue working in TEA productions, hopefully next time as an actress. Her 18th birthday falls on Proposals matinee date, October 15th. Kim Kaminky was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She moved to Farmington 15 years ago. She is married and has 3 children. This is her first play since high school. Kim is involved in doll collecting and is currently the Vice-President of the Tres Rios Doll Society, and "loves to collect STUFF. Tracy Karst is a 27 year old enrolled in San Juan College in the Cosmetology Program. She loves to do hair and makeup and help people to be as beautiful as they can. She loves the idea of doing theatre because she can be so creative and have fun while enjoying the challenge. Khristin Kaske is a student in the SJC Cosmetology program who will graduate in May 2008. She has high hopes to be a custom nail art designer and hair stylist. Helping behind the scenes with the theatre is a great way to extend her knowledge of hair and makeup and it's a very enjoyable experience. Brenda Keith has been a resident of Farmington since 1982. She is "Dado" to her granddaughters, Talisha and Tamara, a City of Farmington employee, and a slowly retiring "volunteeraholic." She volunteered with TEA three years ago and has served as a hostess, cashier, greeter, and server ever since. Talisha M. Keith is a Farmington High School Senior. A Farmington native, she has been involved with acting and other theater related activities since Junior High. She has performed, set up props and worked back stage. Talisha has done volunteer work for the Farmington Public Library and other local events through out the community. She joined TEA as a volunteer four years ago and plans to continue with her volunteering and being involved with drama in some form after she graduates. Tamara L. Keith is a Farmington High School Sophomore. She was born in Albuquerque and moved to Farmington when she was two months old. She is very involved in drama. She has performed in Jr. High and has volunteered her time and talents to other local events. She has a natural love for acting, building props, designing scenes, and anything she can get involved with. She has been a volunteer with TEA for the past four years and has served as a hostess, cashier, greeter, and server. She plans t pursue all venues in acting and back stage work. Reid Kellywood is relatively new to the stage but not to performing. He has participated in many different school events throughout his educational career. He has performed in school choir, church choir, and while attending Fort Lewis College, he was a member of the college's Native American Indian Choir. He is the son of Helena L. Kellywood and the late Reid Henry Kellywood. Allen Kennedy is pleased to be involved in another production for TEA. He is always striving to further his craft both educationally and experience-wise. Memorable roles for Allen include All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten with TEA, Santaland Diaries, a production which inducted him as a member of Pocos Peros Loco's productions. Other memorable roles are Easy Way Out, Black River Traders, Annie Get Your Gun, Cabaret, and Beyond Therapy. In addition to performing, he has a love for design, which was born while working backstage on the touring Broadway production of Ragtime. After the glorious day arrives when he completes his degree, Allen hopes to tour and possibly teach. He gives endless love and thanks to his family and friends, without whom he'd be nothing. God only knows where he'd be. Phillip Kennedy is 13 years old and was born in Denver. He now attends Hermosa Jr. High School. He has worked in technical production capacities but has never acted in a play before. He likes to play baseball (which hes played sine he was 6) and basketball. Phillips best friend is Ryan Brainerd who is also performing in this show. He and Ryan once learned all the lines to a play in a single day. Sarah Kernagis is a 5th grade student at Mesa Verde Elementary School and is very excited about working in her first play. She enjoys soccer, cheerleading, roller-blading, reading and loves to put on "shows with her friends and her brother Josh. Hamilton King is a freshman at Piedra Vista High School where his has been involved in Speech and Debate and Theater. He recently was a Master of Ceremonies at The Variety Show A Salute to Vaudeville. This is his first TEA production and he is very excited to be working with new people. Hamilton plans to continue being involved in theater when he moves to Cleveland, Ohio, this summer. Sharon Klausmeyer-Shaffer has been a supporter of the Arts in Santa Fe and San Juan County since 1980. As a grant writer and program developer, she has written several grants funding projects in the Arts. Sharon is the Board President of the newly formed Tres Rios Childrens Theater, fulfilling her vision of providing theater by and for youth. Her first performance locally was in A Man By Nine for the San Juan Stage Company. Having supported her children, Jason and Ashley, in TEA and San Juan College productions, now it is mothers turn to take the stage. Sharon has lived with husband, T.C. Shaffer, in Farmington since 1990 Justin Klemish is a currently a student of the Performing Arts at San Juan Community College where he is working towards a degree in Theater Education. Justin began his acting career at Piedra Vista High School and has since gone on to work under local directors such as Gail Dixon-Willden, Blake Bowen, Steven Clark, Patrick Cheney and Theresa A. Carson. His favorite performances include Two Fair Maidens Ridiculed, A Salute to Vaudeville, Feathertop, and Sganarelle. Jackson Koewler, who presently is an eighth grader at Heights Middle School, has been acting since he was five years old. He has been in several plays such as Going Buggy, Readin', Ritin', and Rockin', and Charlottes Web. He also has appeared in various other productions including, Wizard of Oz, Mary Poppins, Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, and Beauty and the Beast. He was also in Albuquerque's production of The Nutcracker for two years. Additionally he was a member of, Showcase Kids Choir for three complete seasons. Jackson is currently directing Great Smokies for the drama department at Heights. Tala Koonce is a student at SJC majoring in Liberal Arts. She has participated in numerous high school productions with The Playmakers of Aztec High School. In her free time she enjoys reading, writing, and various aspects of the creative arts. Tala hopes to become a professional photographer in the near future. Jim Krass is 52 years old and the father of six and grandfather to eleven great kids. He migrated from Arizona to New Mexico in 1984. His acting experience has been in Black River Traders, Angel Street, The Spiral Staircase, All I Really Need to Know I Learned In Kindergarten and Enter Laughing. He has been employed by the City of Farmington Electric Utility Division for 22 years. Jim and his wife, Nancy, look forward to retirement in a few years. He has been on "theatre hiatus" for the last two years. Rebecca Krebbs is returning to the stage after a three year absence. In 2006 she graduated from St. Grgory's University with her Bachelor's Degree in Theatre. She currently works at San Juan College in the tye Theatre Department. Rebecca has a five month old daughter named Audrey. Stacie Kremp hails from Ft. Worth, Texas where she was a dance major at Texas Christian University, and performed with various dance ensembles from 1972 through 1987. She has a 15 year old son, Blake, and a 12 year old daughter, Brittany, and has lived in Farmington since 1991. She works at Si Señor's restaurant as a wait-staff supervisor. Stacie looks forward to her first performing role with this cast of Plaza Suite. Steve Krest has returned to the Farmington theater scene after a nearly 4 year absence. His part performances for the SJC Theater Department include: a servant for Daddy Warbucks in Annie; the mortician, Mr. Sowerberry, in Oliver; the bartender, "Christmas Morgan, in The Unsinkable Molly Brown; "Huckelbee, the father, in Fantastiks. Steve also performed for the old San Juan Stage Company production of Arsenic and Old Lace as the crazy "Dr. Einstein. He says, "The part of Marvin is the perfect way to return to the theater silently. Ron Kronig is a native of the Four Corners area. Having recently completed roles this summer of "Lank" in Sandstone's production of Crazy for You, "Carba" in Cyrano de Bergerac and "Casey" in San Juan College's The Grapes of Wrath, Ron was pleased to become involved with TEA performing in Night Watch. He spent over 20 years in radio and television. He was instrumental in opening two performing arts academies. He also wrote, produced, and directed numerous television and radio programs. Ron is excited to be part of local community theatre. Nikhil Krishnaswamy is a 17-year-old junior at Piedra Vista High School. He has previously worked as Running Crew on many TEA Productions, including On Golden Pond, and Haunted, and operated the light board for Scapin/Black Comedy. He enjoys playing viola (with the San Juan College Orchestra), and guitar (by himself). He also enjoys computer programming and animation. Whitney Lamb is a graduate of San Juan College with an Associate of Arts degree. She has taken numerous photography classes at the college. This is her first theatrical assignment in which she has taken both the "head shots" for the lobby display and the photos of the play for TEA's permanent photographic archival record. Jere Lard has lived in the Farmington area since 1973. She has always had an interest in being involved with theatre and in 2001 Jere auditioned for Dreams and Drillbits for Sandstone Productions at Lions Wilderness Amphitheatre and was cast as "Belle." This was a small fun role for Jere, just sufficient enough to challenge her as a new actor. The ensuing season, however, Jere really wanted to do props because she has a natural tendency to organize things. That season she was props mistress in both Dreams and Drillbits and Black River Traders. This presented a huge challenge in that Jere had to keep things separate between the two performances. From then on, Jere indicated that it was just fun! After retiring from the Aquatic Center, weaving and some traveling occupied her time until she went to work part time runner for a prestigious law firm. Since props still brings her challenges, Jere is enjoying the ongoing pleasure of working with TEA. Thomas LaRue has been desperately freebasing theatre since 1990. Since his addiction he has performed Shakespeare, Simon, Sedaris and even managed to squeeze in some independent films and a bevy of fun quality theatre. He is stoked to be a part of AACTFEst and hopes the other community theatres from this state enjoy the festival as much as he has. Cheers and enjoy. Lisa Lauritsen took theater in high school and played "Babette in Raggedy Ann and Andy -she was type cast!- and then played "Ophelia in Hamlet. When high school ended so did her acting career, but then came that historic day when she was "found" and brought in off the street to play the role of "Syvie. Rex Lee and his lovely wife Roszita have lived in the Four Corners Area since 1998. Rex graduated from Farmington High School in 1973 and has worked in computers and radio engineering since as the full-time Chief Engineer at Vertical Radio. They can be seen each Passover on the stage in The Passion Play. His first performance was in You Cant Take it with You as a detective. Other favorites are: Godspell, Fiddler on the Roof, Mame, Black River Traders, and The Wizard of Oz. Hes usually quite tired at the beginning of a rehearsal, but is invigorated by the end. Roszita Lee says, "WOW! Dressing up in pretty costumes and putting on singing and dancing shows isnt just for kids. I like that! Her childhood was made up of mostly performing for clapping neighbors while wearing Grandmas glamour wear. "I even made my own tickets, says Roszita. Highlights for her include playing "Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady, " Hodel in Fiddler on the Roof, and "Gilmer in Godspell. She says shes thrilled to be of assistance to the cast and wants you to enjoy the show. Dawn Leon will graduate from the San Juan College Cosmetology Program in May 2007. She feels blessed to be in an industry that has the ability to affect people's lives through the art of being a hairdresser. She would also like to take this time to thank her instructors for their patience and encouragement as well as helping her through her journey to better herself and her son. Michael Lettie was born in Tucson, AZ in 1965. He moved to Farmington with his family in 1971. He acted in one play in his senior year at Farmington High Scholl under the direction of Chuck Ramsey. Michael has been a cosmetologist for 19 years and is currently working as a color specialist in Aztec. He has two sons, Nicholas, 13, and Anders who is 11, who live in Byrum Township, NJ. Gene Livingston became interested in theatre when he started helping with the sets on Enter Laughing. Gene is in the eighth grade and looking forward to a lot more involvement with TEA in the future. Jennifer Lopez is 25, has just finished her cosmetology license, and is enrolled fulltime to receive her instructors license. She has a great passion for what she does and appreciates the opportunity to do makeup with TEA Productions. She is looking forward to some day owning her own salon. Lee-anne Lord states unequivocally that although she did perform in high school, she will never appear in front of the audience again, no matter who tries to twist her arm. Her interests lie rather than on-stage, in the off-stage area. In that capacity she worked in Dedicated to the End, Brighton Beach Memoirs, and Plaza Suite and has served as House Front Manager since TEA's inception. Lee-anne won Best Set Design for her work on Wait Until Dark. She is employed at SJC's Student Success Center. Mort Lord has been "doing theater" for over 55 years in possibly every capacity. He played the lead roles in A Thousand Clowns Fiddler on the Roof, and On Golden Pond for which he won TEA's Best Male Lead Award and has performed in Harvey, Once Upon a Mattress, Equus, Annie, Brushes Not of this Earth and Painting Churches. He's directed three shows for TEA and was Assistant Director and Dramaturg for Brighton Beach Memoirs and produced two operas. His technical theater resume is too vast to enumerate. Mort is the past Artistic Director of TEA and its current General Manager. Linda Loudon asks, "having moved to Farmington almost ten years ago from New Orleans, was there culture shock for her?" Her answer: "well, perhaps just a little." Recently it has been a pleasure and a profound delight for her to work with the ladies in this production of Steel Magnolias". She feels it has been almost like going home. After having enjoyed the theatre vicariously through her daughter, April Anderson, for years, this has truly been a treat for her. She thanks everyone very much for the opportunity to be a part of this "down-home fun". Joanna Lucas-Klepac, is her kids' mom and her best buddy's wife. 5he is also a language arts/reading teacher at Tse Bit Ai Middle School in 5hiprock. Born and raised in Pennsylvania, she has lived all over the West as a journalist, business owner, counselor, and teacher. 5he taught a year in Slovakia where she met and married her husband. 5he has performed in community theater in Carson City, Nevada, and "performs every day in the classroom. Alexandria and Anthony, both who play "Buzz in this production, are her children. Emily Luther is a 10th grader at Farmington High School and is presently taking Drama as one of her electives. She has been in school productions and loves theater. She worked back stage as a valuable running crew member for TEAs productions of Bell, Book and Candle and Wait Until Dark last season and continues helping in that category with Proposals, but also has plans to audition for roles as her big desire is to be an actress. Nancy Manning, although a native of Colorado, strayed to Seattle, where she discovered the joys of improvisational theater. Her greatest love is still getting up on stage to be surprised by whatever situations are thrown at her. As a resident of Dolores, Colorado, Nancy played in local melodramas including Curses, the Villain is Foiled, Foiled by an Innocent Mai and The Shame of Tombstone. She finds acting a pleasant relief from the stresses of counseling. Dan Marshall is new to theater and new to Farmington. He moved here from Socorro, NM, where he just finished an engineering degree at New Mexico Tech. He was delightfully surprised at being given this role. Dan is currently taking Dance Musical Theater classes and Individual Voice lessons at San Juan College. He is very excited about being in a Neil Simon comedy for his first acting assignment. Dan grew up in upstate New York and has lived in Key West, Florida, San Diego and Los Angeles, California, and in Juneau, Alaska. Danielle Marshall is 13 years old and in the 8th grade at Hermosa Middle School. This is her first acting assignment for TEA. In the past she has been involved in choir, honor choir, and All-State choir. She looks forward to more productions in the future. Todd Martin, a Kentucky native, has been a local fixture for 15 years, working as a retail manager and on ocal radio. His aspirations come from his wife, Glenda and 2 sons, Zack and Zeke. This is his first time onstage in 20 years. "Be Nice. Zach Martin lists his first stage appearance at Tibbetts Junior High School in Lucky Dollar, Private Eye. Since he moved on to high school theatre, he has been cast in Witness for the Prosecution, and played "Hannible in The Curious Savage, "Johny in Chicago Gypsies, and "Owen in The Foreigner, just to name a few. He spent his summer playing "Lopez Garcia in the 2003 season of Black River Traders. Too Soon for Daisies is Zach's first play with TEA. He hopes they invite him back for many more shows. Zach is in his senior year at FHS, where he is the Drama Club President and active in the Spotlight Theatre at the high school. He hopes to someday work in the motion picture industry, both in front of and behind the camera. Zeke Martin is in his third year at Farmington High School. He is active in his acting class and in the Drama Club. He has starred as "Soldier in Big Nose. Zeke has worked as tech runner for The Richest Girl in the World Finds Happiness. He was in The Philadelphia Story at FHS as "Mac, the night watchman. He plans on pursuing his love for acting in high school and beyond. This is his thjird time working with TEA. Zeke would like to thank his friends and family for their support and looks forward to working with TEA for many more years. Addam Martinez is currently a student at Farmington High School. He is a beginning actor in Ms. Rafferty's drama class. A friend in Advanced Acting was the reason Addam discovered his passion for theatre. He has worked with technical theatre before in The Diviners and also The Ten Minute Play Festival at Farmington High. He was also an actor in The Art of Murder. Addam is excited to be involved in theatre and with TEA. This is his first show with TEA, and he hopes you have a great time and for everyone to please enjoy the show. Sarah Martinez is 21 years old and originally from Dolores, Colorado. This is her last semester of Cosmetology school and she is very excited to finish school. She loves this industry because she likes to make people feel good about themselves. She plans on working at the Head Shop after graduation and is getting married in February 2007. Viri Martinez feels that the one thing that is very important to her is to help others feel better about themselves in the way of their appearance. In her future she sees herself opening her own salon and working with many new and unique clients. Nancy Mathis is a transplant from Texas who has resided in Farmington for 25 years. In high school and college her roles ranged from classic Greek Drama to Tennessee Williams. Her role as "Bebe marks her return to the stage after taking time off to be a wife, mother and customer service representative. She and her husband, Dennis, met on a stage crew thirty years ago. Their family includes four children ages 29 to 15, who have taught their parents all the best parts of being married with children. Emily Mayes is a sophomore at Piedra Vista High School and has enjoyed performing since she was young. Her most recent role was "Karen in The Children's Hour. One of her goals for this school year is to be inducted into the International Thespian Society. This fall she was privileged to attend her first SJC Theater Festival, where she competed in the one-act play, Stuff n' Nonsense and looks forward to a return next year. Emily is involved with her youth group at Pinon Hills Community Church, enjoys school and friends, and hopes to be a High School English teacher. Father of the Bride is Emily's first production with TEA and has loved every minute working on it. Debra Mayeux has an extensive background in the performing arts having performed in several community theater productions including The Sound of Music, The Music Man and Camelot. She was also involved in high school theater in such productions as Bye, Bye Birdie, Peter Pan, You Can't Take It With You and Harvey. She studied under this production's director Chuck Ramsey. Once a theater major at San Juan College, she studied under James Childers, and participated in the production of Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy. Her most recent role was in Guys and Dolls as "Adelaide at San Juan College. Other credits include performing with the San Juan College Choir and in the opera Hansel and Gretel. She is currently the Entertainment editor at The Daily Times. Ian McCarthy is a 4th grader at McKinley Elementary School in Farmington. He has been interested in theatre for some time, having attended Theater Ensemble Arts' performances since its inception. This is his debut stage performance for TEA. Kelly McCracken is a senior at Farmington High School where she likes to act go figure. She lent her "skills to acting in The Curious Savage, A Dream Play, The Tower, and The Night of January 16th. She also lent her tech mastery to blowing things up in The Foreigner and making noise in The Curious Savage. She also participated in numerous competitions and 2 conferences. In all seriousness, she is very happy to be a part of the TEA crew and hopes everyone enjoys the show. Nicholette McLellan just moved to Farmington from Fort Worth a few months ago to be closer to family. She is hoping to start at San Juan in the fall and major in massage therapy. She enjoys skiing, painting and hiking in the mountains. Michael McDonald won several awards for his video productions, among them The President's Award for "Creating Cultural Communion, and a Blue Ribbon Finalist for "Toward The Year 2000, both underwritten by PBS. He has also worked as a medical videographer at St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona, and as Technical Director for the evening news in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He is currently the Coordinator of Media Services for San Juan College. Peggy McFarland is making her theatrical debut with this production and says that "she is very excited. She is particularly happy working in her first show with her mother on stage and her father in the wings. She says, "Interacting with someone I know so well takes some of the nervousness out of it. Being a ham runs in the genes with Mona and George Powell as parents. Peggy hopes that this is the beginning of a career in local theater. Laurel (Laurie) Jane McGough was born and raised in Farmington, NM and is currently enrolled at San Juan College as a freshman. She is currently going for her associates of arts with plans to continue for her bachelor of arts at a different college. She enjoys the arts and is an avid painter and writer. You can find some of her poetry in the San Juan College Illumina magazine, which is just one example of her rising achievements Josh Merriman was born in 1988 at San Juan Regional Medical Center. He has two sisters ages 8 and 20. Hes played three roles so far "Little Boy Blue in Who Pushed Humpty Dumpty in the 2nd grade, "Hansel in Hansel and Gretel in the 4th grade and as "Epithieus in Pandoras Box. He also did a monologue at SJCs competition in September, 2000 and took 2nd Place. His hobbies include Acting, Building Scenery, and Soccer. He studies Drama at Rio Vista Middle School. He recently was in Bebes Birds and did the voice of "Joey the Parakeet. Jennifer Meyer graduated from San Juan College in 2000 with an AA degree. She became interested in photography in her junior year in high school. Although not a portrait photographer, she doesnt mind doing them. She is working on continuing her education in the fall. Jennifer Lives in Flora Vista with her "children: Zoe (one spoiled, rotten cat), Mud and Gus (the geese), Chaunsey (the llama) and numerous fish. Kristian Michaels-Coulson splits his time with theater and his job at the Daily Times, where he writes and is a sales representative. He was rewarded with an acting award last summer. "That achievement gave me the greatest jubilation I have ever felt, not just because I won, but because it symbolized all the hard work everyone puts into each and every show. It proved that hard work does pay off, and that there is no greater gift than to make people laugh. I thank each and every one of you for giving me the opportunity to do what I love. Most recently Chris played "Mickey Holroyd in TEAs Bell, Book and Candle. "Enjoy the show! Demitri Miller is a 17 year old junior at Aztec High. She has been involved in theatre for 3 years and has been in seven plays (not including this one) and a CellularOne commercial. She loves theatre and everything to do with it. She says "We all worked really hard on this production and hope you enjoy it. Thank you for coming". Joyce Mills began, in 1966, to perform in numerous lead roles in the productions of the Wild West Show, which lasted for 15 years after which she appeared in the Farmington Follies for the next 3 years. She was also one of the originators of the San Juan Stage Co. and performed lead roles in many of their productions, which included the character of "Quiser (weezer) in Steel Magnolias. Joyce has resided in Farmington since 1963 and is the mother of 3 daughters, 2 son-in-laws, 7 grand-children and 2 GREAT-grandchildren. Natalie Mirabel is currently attending Mesa View Middle School as an 8th grader. She is President and Middle School Representative of the Senate. But most importantly she is a super hero! This is Natalie's first theatrical experience. Kylie Shea Miller is a home-schooled 4th grader. She was born in Barstow, Ca. in 1998. Her favorite sports are Ice Skating, Snowboarding, and Basketball. This is her second year of basketball for Upward. She plays the guitar, and likes to jump on her trampoline and swim. She has 2 sisters, 2 dogs, a cockatiel bird and the newest (1 week) edition to the family, a rag doll Siamese named Angel Lilly. She loves acting and singing to-the radio and TV, and loves movies. Lauren Mitchell is a graduate of San Juan College where she received both Associate of Applied Science in Accounting and an Associates of Arts degrees. She is currently employed with FMS Energy Systems where she is able to apply her studies. and provide for her future. Due to her background of nine years in ballet and jazz dance, seven year of gymnastics and acting and singing for various organizations, her hopes are high to some day devote her life to her love of musical theater. Ivory Moberg marks this as her first TEA production. She is an aspiring opera singer and one day hopes to work for the Santa Fe opera. Her hobbies include drawing, singing, and working on her 1966 Mustang with her dad. She says, "This has been one of the best experiences for me and I have learned a lot, especially from the director and from the rest of the cast." Dori Molletti is a part-time student and part-time librarian at San Juan College. She participated in many theater productions in high school and college, but has not done so in community theater for quite a while. This is the first time she has worked with TEA. Krista Montano is 15 years old and attends Farmington High School as a sophomore. She has been seen in Welcome to the Haunted House, The End of Civilization As We Know It, Ferris Wheel and Sorry Wrong Number. She enjoys drama and showing horses. Rosa Montano hails from Bloomfield, New Mexico. She is employed as the guidance counselor at Nataani Nez Elementary School in Shiprock, NM. Her favorite motto is "the most powerful attitude is one of gratitude. She says, "I am so grateful for this opportunity to promote the Hispanic culture and the Hispanic community. If I can inspire just one person, then my aspirations have been fulfilled. Kelli Moore works at San Juan Colleges Fitness Center and attends school there as well. For the past five years, she has been doing work for the Bloomfield Boys and Girls Club and is now helping with their Basketball program. Bill Morgan (Colonel Melkett) wandered into Farmington in 2000, some time after being abandoned by the U.S. Army in Oklahoma. He brought his wife, Jill, but left his three sons there, believing they were old enough to find their own way out. He joined TEA in 2002, and played Richard Maynard in Moon Over Buffalo. That was so much fun, he decided to do some more. Bill is a computer consultant, bon vivant, raconteur, and all around great guy. Matt Murphy has been involved with theater since he was seven year old. Matt has done over 35 shows with assignments in every technical aspect of theater and has even acted a few times. This is his second year at San Juan College, where he is majoring in technical theater. He plans to transfer to TCU or Texas Tech next fall.
